شركة جوجل كانت قد واجهت مشاكل قبل حلول موعد إطلاق منصتها الجديدة ستادية الخاصة بالألعاب. في الأول كان من المقرر أن تبدأ المنصة بـ 11 لعبة ثم تنتقل بشكل تدريجي لإضافة المزيد من الألعاب. بينما المشاكل والإنتقادات التي تعرضت لها المنصة من جهات أخرى الأمر الذي أكد فيه مطوروها أن الموقع بعد إتمام التطوير يلزمه إضافة المزيد من المميزات.
